the west fork trail remains elusive

Ryan and I headed to Sedona, again, in an attempt to hike the infamous West Fork Trail.  However, once again, it was incredibly packed with individuals that had the same desire, with a line of cars stretched out from the parking lot that proudly displayed a "Full" sign.  Rather than fighting the crowds, we set off on an obscure little trail/ravine.  It was gorgeous.  I don't know when we will find out why exactly the West Fork Trail is so popular, but in the mean time, we are enjoying the abounding beauty of the area that surrounds us.

more explorations with steve and diane

On Sunday we explored our new home, Prescott, AZ.  We went to the Sharlot Hall Museum and learned about the history of the area.  The we ventured through the town square where a good ol' fashioned gun show, I mean, Arts and Crafts fair was going on.

On Monday, we ventured to the gorgeous Sedona.  We forgot it was a holiday weekend and there were about a bajillion people who had the same desire to hike and explore.  But, we found another wonderful trail to explore.  Beautiful!

exploring our new home: jerome, az

Steve and Diane are visiting from Colorado!!  We ventured out to the historic and eclectic little town of Jerome that is built into the steep hillside of the Mingus Mountains.  It was a fantastic day of exploring cute stores and enjoying the amazing view.
"Hill Street."  The pictures don't do this place justice...  This town was built on the side of a very steep "hill."

Lunch at the Haunted Hamburger.  SO good.  And we pretty much didn't have to eat for the next 2 days.

If you are just tuning in...

The past year has been amazing.   Our lives have changed drastically and in ways that we never could have ever imagined.

It all started on November 4, 2009, when Ryan proposed...

I graduated from Regis University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy on May 9, 2010...

We moved to Prescott Valley, AZ on July 4, 2010...

We got married on July 24, 2010...

We went on our honeymoon...

First a night at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs...

And then on to Jamaica...

It has been nothing short of a whirlwind, but it has been an amazing ride and I wouldn't have it any other way.  :)

Blogging...we'll give it a shot.

Ryan and I are settling in to our new "home" in Prescott Valley, AZ, which is a good 615 miles away from most of our friends, family and pretty much everything we know and love.  To aid in keeping everyone in the loop, we (meaning I, Sarah) started a blog.  I'm not promising I'm going to be faithful in always updating, but I do promise to TRY to update you on the exciting or important life happenings of the newest Ingram Family.  :)

To add another communication facet and in trying to keep up with the technology, we've also set up a Skype account.  Username:  ryan24sarah

We love you all and hope to keep in touch with everyone as we set out on a great new adventure.
