christmas, part 2

You remember Halloween Witch Franz? Well, thanks to Grandma Barbara, we now have Reindeer Franz...

I can't wait to see if there is an Easter Bunny Franz.

While huge snowflakes were falling in town, Ryan, Steve, Diane and I headed up to the Colorado Trail for some snow shoeing! It was beautiful. One of my all time favorite trails!

Max and Millie had a great time chasing Sonora around through the snow! We had some tired dogs at the end of the day.

What a wonderful day! It was great to get outside and play in the snow.

Marriage Lessons

1. We will never agree on what temperature the house should be. I am going to get hypothermia by living in Arizona with a man who thinks 3 degrees is the optimum setting for the thermostat.

2. The attitude/tone of the Ingram household is dependent upon the current score of the Aggies game. Like living with a menopausal woman...

3. The car keys go in the car key bowl. If not, a series of events might lead to the side mirror of the Tahoe being removed by the garage door wall. Enough said.

4. Ryan talks in his sleep. And he usually says really amusing things. Team Santa, what?!?!

5. If Ryan starts out a sentence with: "So, I told you...., right?" I can pretty much guarantee that what will be divulged is completely novel material.

6. Marriage confession: We are helping out at the nursery at church because we want to practice with other people's children before getting some of our own. Latest triumph... Ryan successfully calmed a crying baby girl. So proud.

7. Chinese carryout makes a wonderful Easter dinner. And, Mac n Cheese is perfect any night of the week...sometimes multiple times in one week.

8. When the puppy comes in from outside completely covered in dirt mere hours after her most recent (practically daily) bath, using the vacuum is a perfectly acceptable means of cleaning the dog.

9. It is absolutely hilarious to hear the hubby attempt to repeat Spanish phrases that he heard me say when I was talking/scolding the dogs. I'm pretty sure that he figures as long as he gets the voice inflection right, the actual syllables/letters/words don't matter...it is still Spanish to him. "Mobosito miga." Que?!

10. If for some reason you and your spouse do not have seats next to each other on an airplane trip, make sure that you get up and check on your wife to ensure that she is not squished between two incredibly obese men, trying to live through the worst plane flight of her life. ESPECIALLY, if the seat opened up next to you just moments before takeoff. This one is grounds-for-divorce serious. Seriously.

11. If the sleeping pills spill, make sure you that you put them back in the sleeping pill bottle. NOT the liquid Advil bottle, lest your wife takes TWO and then heads to work feeling quite disoriented and..., well, tired.
